Roger Suite - Large 1 bedroom

There are 4 exquisite apartments in this Grade II listed 16th Century  building.  Set on the approach to the Whaley Bridge  train station it is a perfect location for exploring local towns and countryside by train!

Note: we cannot accommodate any guests with mobility impairment in the Roger Suite due to fire regulations.

Entering through the beamed communal entrance hall, the Roger Suite (named after the Jodrell family) is an exceptionally large one bedroom apartment on the entrance floor level, adjacent to the William Suite. 

A small lobby area opens to a gallery kitchen with all the mod cons, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine/dryer and a small breakfast table. Luxury white quartz work tops and high quality units and fittings are a beautiful contrast against the original wooden floor.  

The large living area is a mix of contemporary style with an old stone feature wall, low beams, wooden floor boards and rugs. Comfy seating and a memorable hammock swinging chair, to relax in front of the log burning fire. A dining table and chairs is also in this room. If you had all 4 apartments as a large gathering this would be the entertaining room!

Off the living room is a shower room with a large walk in shower with the choice of a rain water or a  lower shower head,  traditional style fittings, toilet and hand basin.  Quality shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap and towels are all provided for you.

The good sized bedroom can be made into a king bed or 2 singles and has added luxury of a TV!

We do allow max 2 dogs with an additional charge of £15 per dog per stay. Please note we don't provide child safety equipment.

Please note that there will be ongoing works to the lower floor of the building restoring it to be the public house and restaurant it once was – perfect for our guests!  This is due to open summer 2024.
