In the heart of Marple Bridge, a busy, lively, urban village, Town Street Apartment is accessed through a characterful arched walkway from the road side. Accommodation is on two floors, stylishly decorated in a very convenient position. Sleeps 4/6 in two good size bedrooms, one with a king size bed, the second has twin beds, and a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen has all the equipment you need, a washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, breakfast bar, with evening dining in the living area. The bathroom has a shower cubicle with a mineral shower head to filter water impurities, toilet and sink.

A hidden gem of a picturesque village, which revolves around a couple of foodie pubs, a buzzing restaurant, coffee shops/deli, general store, chemist, florist, beauticians, hair salons, lovely walks direct from the doorstep and walking distance to train station to Manchester City Centre, it sure has something for everyone. Across the road from the apartment is a lovely coffee shop by day/tapas restaurant by night, a great place for your morning coffee and breakfast. In the summer, their terrace overlooks the River Goyt where you may be privileged to spot the resident heron or kingfisher!
Due to the nature of the village, there is no private parking, however the road in front (Town Street) allows 1 hour free parking during the daytime and between 6pm and 8am (subject to availability) with a couple of free (and paid) car parks within a very short walking distance.
All our apartments are a short drive away from the glorious hills of the Peak District, with places to visit include Chatsworth House, Castleton, Buxton Spa Town, Bakewell, to name a few, however there are plenty of walks right from the doorsteps. Visit the Roman Lakes with its archeological site, the riverside walks through Brabyns Park and Peak Forest historic canal walkways. Each very close to the train station for Manchester City Centre, Manchester Airport and Sheffield.

“An amazing stay!! A stylish modern apartment with all amenities just as described. Very comfortable bed and right in the centre of Marple. Lots of cute local shops and not too far from the train station to get to Manchester. Jane was very helpful and responded immediately to all of my messages. I definitely would recommend her apartment to anyone visiting the Manchester area. We will definitely be back!!”
“People raised a few eyebrows when we said we were going to Greater Manchester for a week in January, but Marple Bridge is a little gem, very convenient for Manchester City by train, walks along the Peak Forest Canal, the Peak District and for visiting Stockport, which we wanted to do . It has three good pubs, many places to eat and is very pretty. Jane’s apartment is warm and comfortable, with a proper kitchen, lounge and a comfy sitting room. Parking is restricted in the street but there are free car parks a few minutes walk away. Jane was responsive to messages and had plenty of local advice to offer. We had a very pleasant week.”
